MELBOURNE, Aug 28 AAP - The Victorian snow report for Tuesday, August 28:
Falls Creek: Snow depth: 121cm. Lifts: 12/16. Good skiing on a soft cover. Cross country:
Good skiing on a very good cover.
Mt Hotham: Snow depth: 127cm. Lifts: 12/13 plus one standby. Very good skiing and boarding
on a soft cover. Cross country: Very good skiing in the Village, good to Dinner Plain.
Mt Buller: Snow depth: 70cm. Lifts: 25/25. Good to very good in most areas open. Extensive
grooming overnight. Cross country: Very good conditions on 9km of trails.
Mt Baw Baw: Snow depth: 42cm. Lifts: 4/7. Good on a good cover of rain affected snow.
Cross country: Very good on resort trails. Good on Nat Park trails, including St Gwinear
link.
Lake Mountain: Snow depth: 45cm. Cross country: Excellent skiing on an excellent groomed
cover, upper and lower trails.
Mt Buffalo: Snow depth: 35cm. Lifts: 4/5. Good skiing and boarding on a soft cover.
Cross country: Good to very good on a softening cover.
Dinner Plain: Snow depth: 55cm. Lifts: 1/1. Lift open for very good downhill skiing.
Cross country: Best on sheltered trails among trees.
Mt Stirling: Snow depth: 30cm. Cross country: Excellent on a very good cover on upper
trails and lower trails.
Mt St Gwinear: Snow depth: 50cm. Cross country: Good on a good cover on the main trail.
Mt Donna Buang: Snow depth: 40cm. Very good to excellent sightseeing and snow play.
